For many busy parents their most frequent interaction with schools is when they drop off or pick up their children. You can take advantage of this behavior to promote your art fair by putting signs next to the carpool lane. Plus it creates excitement for the upcoming event.
By using tall tomato stakes, the signs and balloons can be at eye level for drivers, especially those in SUVs and vans. The signs shown here are taped to tomato stakes to make them taller and more visible.
The balloons were purchased from a store where everything is a dollar and painted with tempera paint. We used tomato stakes from a local big box home store. The stakes were $1.50 each.

To get the most height possible from the “U” frame do not position it next to the fold, but rather in the center of the sign as shown. Tape it in place. Fold, staple and place in the ground.
